Society of Friends

Literally translated from the Greek language, ETERIA FILON means: Society of Friends. Basic idea is the common development of theatrical visions, with a special focus on the possibilities of mutual inspiration and collaboration between greek and international artists.The target is to overcome the barriers of language and to explore together the variety of intercultural and interdisciplinary concepts of contemporary communication on the stage. We campaign for an improvement of the international dialogue.

ETERIA FILON provient du grec et signifie littéralement: Société des Amis. L'idée directrice est l'invention, la formulation et la réalisation en commun de projets internationaux et interdisciplinaires de théâtre contemporain. Une attention particulière est accordée à la collaboration entre des artistes grecs et internationaux. Le but de cette démarche est de surmonter les barrières linguistiques et d'explorer     ensemble la variété des concepts interculturels et interdisciplinaires de communication contemporaine        sur scène. Nous plaidons pour l’amélioration du dialogue international.

ETERIA FILON bedeutet wörtlich aus dem Griechischen übersetzt:Gesellschaft der Freunde.Treibender Gedanke ist das gemeinsame Erfinden, Formulieren und Realisieren internationaler und interdisziplinärer zeitgenössischer Theaterprojekte. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Zusammenarbeit von internationalen Künstler*innen und Theaterschaffenden aus Griechenland, der Überwindung der Grenzen unserer Sprachen und der Verwirklichung gemeinsamer künstlerischer Visionen. Unser Anliegen ist es, einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung des internationalen Dialogs anzubieten.
